Animals In Need Liverpool

Greetings from Wigan, where one-time Animals-in-need resident Chico (now Chicky or Chicks), has now lived lived for getting on for four years with his boss Jessie (the locally well-known Jack Russell Corgi Cross), and myself, the hunter-gatherer! 

Chicky has improved much with other people,  as he still has definite dislikes from his past, and is still a bit inclined to butt some people if they approach him too quickly.  He is still not keen on skinhead hair cuts, trackies or generally anyone showing aggressive behaviour on the street, but he does tend to like the ladies!

He is far more confident than he was and better at making more human friends.  With with other dogs he is quite good and getting quite skilled at at persuading his little bitch out of trouble.  

He is still addicted to stick chasing, and uses this when guarding his little bitch; three times now he has seen her get fed up with attention (that she has asked for!),  from larger dogs, and has moved them on with a fly-past, using the stick in his mouth to surprise them!

Who says dogs don't have a sense of humour!

 Twice now, as he has NOT slowed down. he has run into odd objects in the undergrowth, and is currently just regrowing fur to his side after another operation, after a fortnight with a lampshade which he rapidly turned into a built-in battering ram for moving all onjects out of his way!
